Dr Laurence Lovat
Consultant Gastroenterologist & Reader in Laser Medicine
Dr Lovat was educated at University College London School of Medicine. He won a prestigious MRC Research Training Award to take an intercalated degree in Nutrition for which he was awarded 1st Class Honours. He then won an MRC Research Training Fellowship to do his PhD at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School at the Hammersmith Hospital (now part of Imperial College). He was appointed as a senior lecturer at University College London and a consultant
at UCH in 1999.
