Dr Stotz completed his specialist medical training in Switzerland and in the UK. He entered the Specialist Register of the GMC since 2006 in anaesthesia and was appointed as Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at St Mary’s Hospital. He has been extensively involved in the treatment of Oesophageal and Stomach pathologies since 2005.

In addition to his anaesthetic commitment, his special interests include trauma care of the severely injured.

Postgraduate Qualifications:

• Board certification in Anaesthesiology June 2000 (FRCA equivalent) and Swiss Federal Diploma September 2003
• Board certification in Intensive Care and Swiss Federal Diploma September 2003 (Specialist Registration)
• Swiss Federal certification in Prehospital Medicine including Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) and Ambulance Services 2002
