Plan My Journey

Driving and Parking

We are located in Upper Wimpole Street, which is the road that runs between Wimpole Street and Devonshire Place. This is just inside London’s Congestion Charging zone. If you drive through the zone between the hours of 7am-6pm Monday to Friday, you will be charged. The charge does not apply on public holidays.

There is limited metered parking in the area. You may therefore prefer to come by public transport.

If you want to drive, consider parking your car in the Outside Circle of Regents Park. This is outside the Congestion Charge zone and is a 5 minute walk from our centre.

By Tube

If you are coming on the underground, we are a 5 minute walk from both Regents Park and Baker Street stations.

From Warren Street, on the Northern Line, it is a 15 minute walk. Alternatively you can take a bus from outside Warren Street station to Harley Street.

By Bus

The following buses stop at Harley Street:

  • 18
  • 27
  • 30
  • 453

Please get off at the Harley Street stop. Walk down the road next to Harley Street. This is called Devonshire Place. After 100 metres it turns into Upper Wimpole Street. Our office is on the right hand side.

Other Locations

In addition to our Centre in Upper Wimpole Street, we also see patients at a variety of locations in central London and in the suburbs.

We also offer consultations at

We do not give medical advice over the Internet, but if you live a long way away our doctors might be able to offer you a consultation over the telephone at a mutually convenient time. Please note that we make a charge for telephone consultations.

What to Bring

When you come for your appointment Remember to get the following:

  • Referral letter from your GP, family physician or other doctor.
  • Your insurance information including name of insurance company, membership number and pre-authorisation number if available.
  • Copies of medical records, blood results, endoscopy, MRI, CT scans, histology and so on from previous doctor visits.
  • If you have had surgery elsewhere, please bring a copy of your operation report.

Very often during the course of your evaluation or treatment for your condition your doctor will need to do tests to determine the cause of a problem or to evaluate your progress. If not all the relevant information is available at the time of your appointment this may cause a delay in your treatment. In addition it may be necessary to repeat a study to complete your evaluation.

Please dress so that it is easy to examine your chest and abdomen. Loose fitting clothes, and for women, a separate top and bottom are advisable.

It is also a good idea to bring someone with you to the appointment. They can remind you of things you might forget to tell the doctor. They can also listen to the suggestions the doctor gives. It is quite usual not to remember everything, particularly if you are not feeling well. Another pair of ears can be very useful!

To cancel an appointment:

Telephone the office during business hours. Please cancel at least 1 day ahead so that your appointment time can be allocated to another patient who is seeking treatment. We reserve the right to charge for appointments that are not cancelled in good time. We understand that problems can occur and sometimes people have to cancel at short notice. We will try to be sensitive to your needs and in emergency situations, we will often waive the fee for the late cancellation.

Our promise

Your time is valuable and we make every effort to run on time. We promise to see 80% of patients within 10 minutes of the appointment time offered.

As you can imagine, emergencies occur that cause scheduling delays beyond our control. We apologise in advance if we keep you waiting.
